How to Create JAMB Online Profile 2024: JAMB Profile Creation and Update: Are you gearing up for the 2024 JAMB? Please be aware that the 2024 JAMB UTME Registration is set to commence shortly. The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has confirmed that the registration for the 2024 JAMB UTME will begin on January 15th and conclude on February 26th, 2024. Additionally, the JAMB exam date for 2024 is scheduled to run from April 19th to April 29th, 2024. Therefore, if you haven’t created a JAMB profile yet, it’s essential to do so promptly.

If you are creating this profile, using the Chrome browser on a high-quality smartphone or computer system is recommended.

 

Ensure you log in to your profile to confirm accuracy before proceeding to obtain the ePIN. In case of errors, you can utilize the SMS profile self-help method mentioned above for corrections.

Use the same email address that was used to create your profile when obtaining your ePIN.

If ePIN is not received or lost, send a text message from the registered telephone number “UTMEPIN” or “DEPIN” to 55019 for UTME or DE, respectively.
The ePIN would then be retrieved.
After Payment:

After successful payment & obtaining ePIN, the candidate should proceed to any accredited CBT Centre to complete his/her registration.

 

JAMB Registration Process at CBT Centres:

Remember you need your Olevel result like WAEC/NECO/NABTEB if you have one or you enter Awaiting Result.

The candidate presents the ePIN at any JAMB accredited CBT Centre for validation and completion of registration.
The candidate is expected to pay not more than N700.00 as a Service Charge to the CBT Centre.
Provides biodata.
Choice of institutions and programmes.
UTME subjects.
Picture capture (no passport photography).
Biometric capture.
Print Registration Slip using biometric authentication.
Collect reading text & CD.

Use text to create a profile from your phone (only one number per candidate).

How to Create JAMB Profile on JAMB eFacility Website

Before you can engage in any activity on the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) E-facility portal, including printing JAMB result slips, admission letters, or making corrections, you need to create a profile. Here are the steps:

Step 1: Verifying Your Email Address

Visit the JAMB Official website and click on ‘Create e-Facility Account/Login’ at the top of the page.
Log in and choose a security question from the drop-down menu.
Provide an answer and verify your email by following the instructions sent to you.
Open the confirmation email from “noreply@jamb.gov.ng,” click the link, and follow the prompts.
Step 2: Signing Up as a New User

 

After email verification, click on the link provided or enter the confirmation code on the JAMB email validation form.
Fill in your personal information, including surname, first name, middle name, date of birth, phone number, nationality, state, LGA, and create a password.
Double-check the information for accuracy.
Click on “Sign Up,” and upon success, a message will confirm your account creation.
Proceed to login with your new JAMB profile.
To access your new JAMB profile, visit http://www.jamb.org.ng/efacility/ValidateeMail, supply the required information, click on ‘Verify e-Mail,’ follow the link sent to your email, and complete the sign-up process.

 

How to Create Your JAMB Profile Using Your Mobile Phone Via Text (SMS)

Send your Surname, First Name, and Middle Name (if applicable) to the JAMB short code 55019 (maximum of 38 characters + 2 spaces).
Only one cell number can be used by one candidate.
Receive a 10-character confirmation code on the same telephone number, which will be used to obtain the ePIN.
PROFILE SELF HELP IN CASE OF MISTAKE / LOSS:

To correct a mistake in the candidate’s name, resend a text message “CORRECT Surname First name Middlename” to 55019 from the registered number.
To retrieve a lost confirmation code, resend a text message “RESEND” to 55019 from the registered number.
Ensure timely creation of your JAMB profile to facilitate various actions when needed during the admission process.
